Distiller for a Day

Wear your shoes and jeans for this one because you don’t just get to learn the distillation process, you get to DO it!

**We’ve had to pause our Distiller for a Day program during construction, which we expect/hope to wrap up by the end of November.** Learn the process of making bourbon from grain to glass. Not only do you get to work alongside the founders of Wiggly Bridge Distillery but lunch and tastings are provided. Space is extremely limited as we like to provide an intimate and engaging environment. “As a small business owner myself, I have the utmost respect for those who take risks to follow a dream. To you Dave and David as the day started I could see the passion, drive and commitment you both have for producing the highest quality product possible. My brother and I. as we talked after, were quite impressed with the knowledge you both had for the short period of time you have been distilling spirits and also with the fact that you made most of your equipment yourselves only strengthens the fact that your dedicated to your quest. Thank you again for offering such an amazing learning experience and for having us for the day” – Brian

This photo means more to us than we can put into words.

Grandfather and grandson. Two generations, working together on the stonework during our renovation at Wiggly Bridge Distillery.
One teaching, one learning.

Both building something far greater than just a wall; it’s passing down knowledge, values, and the spirit that’s carried us through some of the most difficult moments in our journey.

Truthfully, if things had gone differently last fall with the citizens petition ordinance, this moment may not have been captured. There were moments we didn’t know if this dream could survive.

To everyone who stood by us, thank you. Your encouragement, belief, and support helped us keep going when it would have been easier to walk away. This photo is a snapshot of why we never did.

It’s family. It’s learning. It’s legacy. It’s Community. It’s building something we believe in. It’s love poured into stone and wood and long days.

As we continue renovating and bringing the distillery closer to the vision we’ve always dreamed of, we want you to know we’re still OPEN! Join us for cocktails, tastings, and tours while the transformation unfolds.

Celebrate 125! A Benefit Party for Old York
Friday, August 22, 2025

Perkins House Museum

In 1899 a group of local preservation minded citizens and summer residents, spearheaded by Mary Perkins, initiated an effort to maintain the Old Gaol. The following year, on July 4, 1900, the Old Gaol opened to the public as a museum showcasing objects associated with York’s history. What began as a modest endeavor 125 years ago is now Old York Historical Society. Join us for a celebratory evening on the grounds of the Perkins House Museum, with live music, delicious hors d’oeuvres by Harvest & Plate Catering, cocktails by wigglybridgedistillery, and a silent auction.

Tickets are live! Visit oldyork.org
